Chiropractic And Pregnancy

I have been adjusting pregnant moms for many years now. From mothers with pain, to the mothers with breeched babies. Chiropractic being drug free, safe and side effect free makes it the number one go to place for pain relief among pregnant moms. Although the most important aspect of pregnant moms under chiropractic care is they are more likely to have an easier labor and spend less time in the hospital.

Instead of taking my word for it… after all I’m the Chiropractor, here is just some of the peer reviewed research on the topic of Chiropractic and pregnancy, also please visit the Photo Gallery for pictures of my adjusting some of my pregnant and infant patients.

I get questions on c-section deliveries, based off what I have seen in practice and what I have read, I tell patients if you can avoid a c-section that if would be of better benefit to the child.  Although there are many circumstances where a c-section delivery unavoidable. This is a great summery of the research I have seen on the subject.

I would like every Pregnant patient to please consider reading the research I have regarding Acetaminophen (Tylenol) for themselves and or their infant. The results are not favorable and if this conflicts with pediatricians recommendations please show them this research.

  1. I think it would be very good for pregnant women to see a chiropractor. I feel like they are always mentioning how they are sore or in pain. I agree with this article that it would also be a nice treatment for pregnant women because it is drug free and very natural. You wouldn’t have to worry about hurting the baby.
